Servers are down and can’t play Call of Duty patch 1.05

Hey guys, after the release of Call of Duty patch 1.05. I am getting a message that servers are down visit https://support.activision.com/onlineservices whenever I tried to connect to multiplayer. I tried to reinstall the patch but it's still the same. Help! Thanks.

Servers are down and can’t play Call of Duty patch 1.05

I already tried visiting the link you provided, “https://support.activision.com/onlineservices”, and as far as I see the page, it says that all servers are fully operational. Maybe the servers were down the time you tried connecting to it.

Whenever this happens to your connection, try it a few times and if there’s still no progress try it the next day. It’s possible that there is really something wrong on their servers.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 patch 1.05 that you are saying only applies to PS3 or PlayStation 3 devices. This patch doesn’t apply on computer versions.

This patch supposedly should fix the lag problems that most users are experiencing but according to some players who already tried installing the patch, they didn’t feel any change on the game.

The previous lag that they experience is the same lag that they experience at present.

I think you misunderstood the use of the patch to the game. The patch that can be downloaded is only intended to be used on PS3 or PlayStation 3 devices and it doesn’t apply on computers.

And after reading some of the posts in their blog about the game and the patch 1.05, the actual game patch really doesn’t do anything to the game. It doesn’t fix the lag problem that most users are complaining about.

You will still experience the same lag on the game even if you already use the patch on your PS3 device. So, generally, it really doesn’t matter if you install the patch 1.05 or not.

If you can’t connect to the game at the moment, try it again later. If you still can’t even after a couple of hours, try it maybe the following day. Maybe the servers are quite full that’s why you are unable to connect.
