Dear Readers, please let me know what I should do when the following message is shown. 

 

This installation package could not be opened.

Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows Installer package.

ASAP, Please.

MS Windows Installer Error 2263

There can be many issues but few main issues are listed below

Method 1

Well Sometimes this issue is caused due windows installer package file, named “.msi” is damaged or being corrupted.

You have to reinstall it by getting an original download copy, or you have to update the latest version of windows installer package. 

 

Method 2

If the file you are going to install and that was previously worked fine, then there may be a bad disk problem. Try to run a disk checker maybe the corruption of files caused due to bad disk error.
