Why does Foxit Reader show this error in my system again and again? I receive one file through the mail. Now, I tried to open that file. When I double clicked the file, I received an error message. After I clicked a button, all programs terminated. Error detail is given below.

Firefox is small software for reading PDF files. It is small software but it works in a big character in your computer. It uses many resources to do its job perfectly. So if it is missing something, that means it can not find its needed resources.

In this case, you need to update this software. You can update it from internet or any of updated versions. Updated version will find missing file or documents.

If you don’t have internet connection or you don’t want to spend money on this, then you can uninstall this software and reinstall it again in order to solve this problem.

You did not specify what the file you got from your e-mail was.  I assume it's a PDF file since it launches Foxit PDF Reader upon opening of that file.

There are many possible causes for the error but since I do not have much information to go on, let's go with the most obvious problem – a corrupted installation of Foxit PDF Reader.  The only solution for this case is to reinstall Foxit PDF Reader.  It would be better if you download the latest version from their website (https://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/).

If Foxit PDF Reader still encounters problems, then I suggest switching to another free PDF reader such as PDF-XChange Viewer.
