Task Performed Before Running Admin And To Compile Forms Using Adadmin In R12.

Options available on the adadmin main menu are: general applications files menu, maintain applications file menu, complied applications database entities menu, maintain applications database entities menu, change maintenance mode, and exit AD administration.

There is some primary task which is to be performed before you start running admin:

• You need to verify that the Oracle home has a proper setup.
• Log successfully into applmgr.
• Run the environment files.
• Make a note of paths like ORACLE_HOME/bin and AD_TOP/bin.
• Make sure you have adequate space in your disk.
• Also, make sure that ORACLE_SIDE identifies the proper database.
