Hi Abbigailantonia,
To clean-up a malware infested PC. You need to do the following:
First, you need to disconnect your PC from the Internet Connection to avoid the malware manifestation and to ready your PC from cleaning and to avoid malware. You need to BOOT your PC by pressing the F8 button after you restart your PC and when you see anything on the screen. Press the F8 repeatedly. After that Advanced Boot Option menu will appear then choose Safe Mode with Networking then hit Enter. Next, delete temporary files to speed up the virus scanning and also to get rid of some malware infesting the system. After that, download a Malware Scanners to help you scan the malware in your system and remove some of the infections.  This will clean-up your malware infested PC and make it free from malware.

If your computer is already infected with a virus and you are unsure if the program you used to clean your machine has done the right job, try using Sophos Virus Removal Tool. It is a tool for removing virus on an already infected computer. It is best used if your computer is infected with a virus or is heavily infected with virus and your antivirus has been disabled or is no longer capable of cleaning the machine.
But take note, don’t use it as a regular antivirus on your computer because it is not an antivirus. It doesn’t do real-time scanning like what antivirus do. It is only used to scan a computer for malware when it is needed. You don’t need to uninstall your existing antivirus when you install it. It works alongside any antivirus application you may have.
Once you download it and run the installer, don’t disconnect from the internet because internet connection is required for updating its virus signature database. Once Sophos has finished installing, it will automatically update its virus signature database. Once the update is finished, you can start scanning your computer. After the scan, it will display all detected virus. Delete them and then rescan the computer. Repeat scanning until it no longer detects a virus.
