Hello,

Somehow, the “Color Fitness 3” plug-in is misbehaving or become corrupted for AE to execute and so throwing this error.

Remove the plug-in from the directory mentioned in the error message: “C:Program FilesAdobeCommonPlug-insMediaCoreSynthetic Aperture” and fill it with the latest plug-in. Download Color Fitness.

If you don’t need the plug-in, you can remove it from your After Effects.

Now, your problem should go away.

Generally, anything you install on your computer must come with its own uninstaller. So, if you installed a plug-in for Adobe After Effects CC and the plug-in is now expired making Adobe After Effects to not load anymore, just use the plug-in’s built-in uninstaller to uninstall it from your computer. Click “Start”, “All Programs”, select the plug-in folder you wish to uninstall, then click “Uninstall”.

Another way is from the Control Panel. Click “Start”, “Control Panel”, then “Programs and Features”. On the next screen, scroll down and locate the plug-in. Right-click it then select “Uninstall”. On the other hand, if none of these methods are possible, here’s one workaround that worked for one user. Open Windows Explorer then navigate to the MediaCore folder.

In your screenshot, the MediaCore folder is located in “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore”. Inside the MediaCore folder, locate the folder for the plug-in. If your plug-in is called “Synthetic Aperture”, locate the “Synthetic Aperture” folder and delete it. After this, navigate back and go to the Adobe After Effects “Effects” folder: “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CC\Plug-Ins\Effects”. Inside the Effects folder, locate the “Synthetic Aperture” folder and delete it.
