When I’m trying to connect my USB device to the laptop, this ‘last USB device connected by you to this computer malfunctioned’ error is occurring. How can I fix this error?

Fix Of ‘last USB Device Connected By You To This Computer Malfunctioned’ Error Code

This error generally occurs when the computer is unable to detect the USB device. One thing which is interpreted form this error message is the USB device is malfunctioning, or in other words, it is not working in the same way as it should be. Try to disconnect and then reconnect the device. If it is still not working, then try the ‘Power cycle’ your PC. Follow the steps to do so-

• Remove the USB device from your PC.
• Turn off your PC.
• Wait for 2-5 minutes.
• Start the laptop.
• Reconnect the USB device to the PC.

If still not working then, try to connect the USB device to some other computer and check whether it is working on it or not. If not, then your USB device is corrupted.
