I recently installed some applications on my laptop and after the installation had to boot the PC, so I clicked on the ‘Restart’ option. When the laptop was booting, firstly it was taking too much time to boot compared to its usual boot-up time. Then, after waiting for some time, this Lenovo error code 0xc00000e9 starts appearing on the screen. I tried to do the process again, but the same issue is happening. How can I fix this problem?
Solution Of Lenovo Error Code 0xc00000e9
This error indicates that the hard drive of your PC is about to get corrupt but, isn’t at present. This error also occurs when the file system of PC’s hard drive got corrupted or when the connection between the hard drive and motherboard got loose/damage. You can try out these steps to fix the problem-
- You should check the SATA cable which connects Motherboard with the hard drive. But before doing so, always turn off your PC and remove the connections from the electricity socket. You can change the SATA cable or can change the port.
- If it is not solving the error, go to the BIOS. Check for the boot devices. Make sure that the PC’s hard drive must be at the top.
- If still, the error is appearing, you have to go back to the earlier system restore point. You can do this by visiting ‘Advanced Recovery options.’
Solution Of Lenovo Error Code 0xc00000e9
If you encounter error code “0xc00000e9,” first, try disconnecting all peripherals from your computer including external devices like external hard drive, USB flash drive, printer, mouse, keyboard, and others. The only thing needed is the monitor plugged on the CPU to see the status on the screen. With all the peripherals disconnected, start your computer and see what the status on the screen displays.
If you see no error, try connecting all peripherals one at a time beginning with the keyboard. Turn off the CPU and connect the keyboard and then start the CPU again. Keep doing this until all peripherals are connected back. If the error appeared after connecting one of the peripherals, turn off the CPU and disconnect that device.
Try connecting it on a different computer and see if the problem follows. If it is working there, it is probably not compatible with your computer. This is probably the simplest way to diagnose the problem and find out which device is causing it. On the other hand, if the problem continues even after disconnecting all devices, it can be your hard drive that’s causing the problem.
You probably need to replace your hard drive at this point because it is probably failing.
