I am using inkjet photo paper for laser printer. It seems almost impossible to get clear print-outs. They are always fuzzy and vague. Why am I facing this issue?
Using inkjet photo paper for laser printer is the culprit here. Inkjet photo papers are specially designed for use in inkjet printers, which spray ink in accurate amounts resulting in high quality print-outs.
Hence, such photo papers are designed to absorb sufficient amount of ink. In contrast, laser printers use toners to print the image onto the paper using heat.
The inkjet photo papers cannot withstand the heat, nor is the coating fabricated to attract the toner. The coating on them can even melt into the laser printer. This can damage your printer as well apart from resulting in fuzzy images.
