I was using the Outlook 2010, but I was unable to open OST file in it. So, I just want to know how we can open OST file in outlook 2010? Thanks in Advance.

Grab some knowledge about OST File in Outlook 2010.

The full form of OST is Off-line Storage Table. OST is an email resource on the offline mode used for exchange and outlook email clients users. It’s located in a local system, according to MS Outlook application versions. So, now we’ll learn how to open OST file in outlook 2010. There are two different ways to open an OST file in MS Outlook, which is the following:

Manual Process- The Manual process is the unpaid solution of opening the OST file in the outlook by drag and drop solution. Also, it offers the opening of the OST file by migration manual solution (Offered by Microsoft).

Step 1- Firstly, In the control panel, Select Mail.

Step 2- Now, on the mail tab, click on the exchange account and then on Change.

Step 3- Then, select More Settings.

Step 4- Now, click offline folder file settings.

Step 5- Select Disable Offline use, and after that, click Yes.

Step 6- Again, go through the offline folder settings.

Step 7- Select Ok.

Step 8- In the dialog box, select Yes.

Step 9- Select the use of a cached exchange mode checkbox inside the cached exchange mode settings.

Step 10– In the last, Open account settings, and after that, mail setup dialog box.

 

A third-party tool to open OST file in outlook- There are many third-party tools used for repairing OST file and successfully open OST file in all edition of MS Outlook 2016 to Outlook 97.
