Hi, I am learning chemistry as an undergraduate. I came across a concept called errors in gravimetric Analysis and have difficulty in understanding it.

The common source of errors in the gravimetric analysis is the difficulty in obtaining completely pure samples of the constituent required to be measured as well as having the exact composition compared to an ideal compound. The errors occur because precipitation is never complete and has some residues left out, thus creating a source of error in the Gravimetric Analysis.
