Hi, I will help you understand the exchange 2010 active directory. The Active Directory refers to the directory that is authorized for use by users in a period preventing unauthorized users from illegally accessing mailboxes as well as accidental leaking of emails to external agents.

It is a feature that is common to all the Exchange versions. The software gives administrators tools to manage mailboxes, manage Active Directories and users’ permission, etc.
