I am facing a weird problem now a day. My system is gradually decreasing in performance due to high disk activity from system process and perform.exe.
Whenever the high disk activity occurs, my RAM usage drops from approximately 1.6GB to just 600MB. I don not know the reason for this error but I am facing this since last about two weeks and could not find any solution yet.
Also this high hard disk activity problem will occur anytime whether I am playing some game, browsing or doing nothing.
My system is decreasing in performance.
Hi,
Solution #1
Press “ctrl+alt+del” key to open the Task Manager. Then go to process tab. in the process tab, you will see all the files that are running in your system. end the process of the file that you do not need or you are not using like rundll32.exe, and files which uses more than 10,000 kilobytes. Especially if you have the Roxio Creator installed. It has a features that monitors the harddrive. This feature should be disabled.
Solution #2
Go to Control Panel, then look for Programs. Under Programs, click the Uninstall Program if you are using Windows 7. For Windows XP, open your control panel then go to add/remove program.
So when you are in the Uninstall Program or Add/remove Program, you will see all the programs that are installed in your computer. Uninstall all programs that you do not need.
