How to fix website’s security certificate error

Hi Buddy I’ll help you with different methods on to fix website’s security certificate error –

Method 1- Install the Certificate

Step(i) Right-click the “Internet Explorer” icon, then choose “Run as administrator “.

Step(ii) Visit the website and choose the option to “Continue to this website”.

Step(iii) Click where it says “Certificate error” in the address bar, then choose “View certificates “.

Step(iv) Select “Install Certificate “.

Step(v) Select “Next “.

Step(vi) Select the “Place all certificates in the following store” option.

Step(vii) Select “Browse “.

Step(viii) Choose “Trusted Root Certification Authorities “, then select “OK“.

Step(ix) Select “Yes” when prompted with the security warning.

Step(x) Select “OK” on the “The import was successful” message

Step(xii) Select “OK” on the “Certificate” box.

Method 2- Name mismatch of the certificate (To fix this issue follow these steps)

Step(i) Open Internet Explorer.

Step(ii) Select the options gear, then select “Internet Options “.

Step(iii) Select the “Advanced” tab.

Step(iv) Scroll down to the “Security” section and uncheck the “Warn about certificate address mismatch” option.

Step(v) Select “OK “.

Step(vi) Restart the computer.

Method 3- Change date and time of the PC

Step(i) Click the clock icon in the bottom right corner and select Adjust date/time.

Step(ii) Check your time and date. If for some reason your time and date aren’t correct, you need to Turn off Set time automatically option and then click the Change button.

Step(iii) Set your time and date and click on Change.

Step(iv) After you’ve done that, check if the problem is resolved. If the issue is fixed, turn on Set time automatically option.
