Windows include the thousands of Dynamically linked libraries that provide the system features for other applications to use. The windows internals can also run the DLLs from the Windows command prompt by typing “Rundll32.exe” and the name of the DLL that you wish to run. The windows Rundll32.exe is safe and cannot harm your computer; there is no need to remove it or stop the process from running. Rundll.32.exe is a critical windows process that launches other 32 bit DLLs that resides on your computer.

Steps for fix Windows Host Process rundll32 stopped working :

• Click on the start menu and type the control
• On the right corner, you see the view by then select the large
• Then click on File Explorer
• Then click on the View tab on the pop-up window.
• Then Unchecked the Always show icons, never thumbnails then, click on apply and ok.
