Hi,

Cooling system on your desktop computer is important to stable the work flow of your computer.

It also helps your computer keeps away from overheating.

Here is the link to check high standard cooling system fans;

This website provides information what are the best cooling system fan available. Price also are listed for you to consider the cost.

Computers get hot most often because we tend to use computers almost 24 hours a day. CPU, processor and hard drives gets damaged if it reaches it's maximum limits of hotness, even worse it might burned out.

Some installed liquid transfer heat, that uses water cooled PC fan.

Installing water block requires careful planning because one mistake might spill water in the whole motherboard.

This way of installing water cooled fan is the best out there.

This prevent overheating and definitely will cool down your computer.

Hello Keithmurphy66.

What you want is to set up fans to ensure that your CPU is well-ventilated.

Here's what I suggest:

1. Proper location of CPU. Since hot air rises, it is always cooler near the floor. You should place your CPU as close to the floor as possible. If you have carpeted flooring then don't place it directly on top of the carpet. Put it on a stable solid surface such as a piece of wooden board. Of course, the problem would be your CPU will gather dust faster so you should place your CPU as low as possible without it picking up too much dust from the floor.

2. Buy case fans that are really designed for case cooling. Some people use old DC fans from discarded power supplies as case fans.  It's economical but the fans in power supplies are not powerful enough to move air inside your case.  If your CPU chassis supports it, get the larger fans.  Large fans rotate slower, hence quieter than the smaller fans yet they move more air.

3. Intake fans. Position fans in front such that they blow air in towards the motherboard. Put filters on your intake fan so it doesn't blow in too much dust to your components. A cheap filter is old ladies stockings.

4. Exhaust fans. Position fan at the rear such that they blow air out.

5. Side fans. If your case has provision for fans at the side, position the fan such that it blows outward (exhaust).

Hi Keithmurphy66.

I have a simple and easy way on how to have a good airflow inside your system unit just in case if you don't have money to burn. All you have the need to do is to open the case of your system unit.

And after that is to put the electric fan beside your system unit just what my attachment shown. Also make sure that the cables inside your system unit are less crowded and well arrange so that you will have a better cooling performance.

Hope it helps you.
