How To Resolve The 0x800423f4 Windows 7 Error?

Hello. Facing a VSS error 0x800423f4 Windows 7 while trying to backup system files. Follow the below-mentioned solutions to resolve the error.

Method 1:

Disable the Windows firewall.

• Go to the control panel.
• Search and Click on the system& security option.
• Go to the Windows firewall.
• Search for windows firewall on or off option and click on it.
• Next, go to public/private networks.
• Enable turn off windows firewall option in a private network.
• Click ok.

Method 2:

Checking the hard drive.

• Go to This PC or my computer.
• Select the partition and right-click on it.
• Go to properties, next select tools.
• Click on check now.
• Select the scan drives and follow the prompts.
