After I updated my Windows 10, I cannot update or download apps from the Windows Store. I am getting a 0x803f8001 error. Is there a fix for the 0x803f8001 error of the Windows Store?
Microsoft removes a few bugs and adds another ton of it in an update. However, try the methods given below to fix the 0x803f8001 error –
Method 1-
a. Open Command Prompt as Admin.
b. Type PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command “& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + ‘\AppxManifest.xml’ ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}”, and hit enter.
c. Try to update apps.
Method 2
a. Press Windows + R on your keyboard.
b. Type inetcpl.cpl, and press enter.
c. Go to the Connections tab.
d. Open LAN settings.
e. Disable the use of the proxy server, and enable automatically detect settings.
f. Save the changes.
g. Try to update apps.
