When I try to open a media file using the Windows media player, I face the 0xc00d11d2 cannot access the file error? Help me!

Does Anybody Know A Definite Workaround For The Windows Media Player Error 0xc00d11d2 Cannot Access The File?

You have to grant full access to the file to remove the 0xc00d11d2 cannot access the file. Here is how to do the same.

Method 1

a. Go to the folder that contains your audio file.
b. Do not open the folder.
c. Right-click on your folder.
d. Go to properties.
e. Open the Security tab.
f. Click on Edit -> Add.
g. Type Everyone in the text area.

h. Click Ok.
i. Tick the full control box.
j. Apply -> Ok.

If the issue persists –

Method 2

a. Open Control panel.

b. Open Sound.
c. Open Speakers.
d. Open the Advanced tab.
e. Untick the Enable Audio Enhancements option.
f. Save the changes.
g. Error solved!
