a. Open Settings.
b. Open Application manager/ Apps.
c. Find Google Play Store, and open it.
d. Clear data and clear cache.
e. Go back to Application manager/ Apps.
f. Find Google Service Framework, and open it.
g. Clear data and clear cache.
h. Try to download apps.

If the above method did not solve a “504 problem”, try this –

Method 2

a. Go to settings.
b. Open Accounts.
c. Open Google accounts.
d. Remove your account.
e. Restart your device.
f. Similarly, add your account.
g. Restart your device.
h. Try to download apps.

You can use a VPN if the above methods fail. Use your browser to download a free VPN on your device, and use it to download apps from the play store.
