Please help me to fix the Zoo Tycoon 2, 1628 failed to complete the installation error. I am getting the error when I am trying to install Zoo Tycoon 2 on my Windows 8 PC.

One of the following methods will help you to eliminate the Zoo Tycoon 2, 1628 failed to complete installation error.

Method 1

a. Open File Explorer.
b. Double-click on the C drive or the drive where you have your OS.
c. Go to Program Files.
d. Open Common Files.
e. Right-click on the InstallShield folder
f. Rename it to “InstallShield1.”
g. Now, try to install the game.

Method 2

a. Press Windows + X.
b. Open Task Manager.

c. Click on idriver.exe -> End task.
d. Similarly, click on the msiexec.exe -> End Task.
e. Restart your device.
f. Try to install the game.
