Hello my friend

As you may presume, this means that your battery is probably weak and it doesn't’ work with his full capacity anymore.

But, if you believe that your battery is running smoothly,

Then you can turn off that notification by clicking and removing the check box on battery meter.

But you have to be sure that your battery is working with full capacity. Maybe it got damaged somehow?

Or is not plugged well with the rest of the laptop?

Maybe those tiny little wires are broken so laptop thinks that something wrong is with better capacity?

First check all of the above and then you can turn off the check box.

There may be a problem with the computer’s BIOS with it not being able to detect the battery properly, or the BIOS may just need to be updated. Did you install a battery that was from the manufacturer or is it a replacement battery?

Some BIOS are particular with the batteries they detect and if you are using a replacement battery it may not like it and dismiss it and give you the error message. Also try updating Windows, it may not be working right that is why it is unable to give you a correct reading and it gives you FALSE readings.

That normally happens when you are using a laptop because it normally runs on battery instead of the usual AC power like normal desktop computers do. If a red “X” starts appearing on your battery icon, it only means that your battery is low and you need to recharge.

That red “X” doesn’t mean that your laptop has a bad battery or it is broken and needs to be replaced. You only need to replace your laptop’s battery with a new one if it starts showing a short life or the battery weakens very fast than normal. But if you don’t see it on your battery then there’s no problem.

To remove the red “X” on the battery icon on the system tray, just connect your laptop to your charger and plug the charger to the power to recharge the battery. You can continue working even if the battery is charging.
