Hi there,
The whole thing is easy to install and work with Linux operating system.
Just download the package of the vBulletin Smilies and install them by
sudo apt-get install (the package file path)
Now once the package is installed then open the GUI of the vBulletin and change the Smilies category into generic.
Now you can use it for adding new Smilies.
I hope this would help you to solve your problem.
Best regards,
Riley Weaver.
