PS4 turns off randomly while I play

I have had this problem while playing both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Diablo III, so I don't think they are related to the games.

Sometimes the PS4 shuts down completely, without warnings and apparently at random. In those occasions, there is also a red light that blinks where the white one should be.

Is it something I can solve on my own? Is it serious?

Hello,

It’s one of the most common problem of PS4 that it turns off randomly. Make sure that hardware configuration is correct.

Check the HDMI port for correct connection and configuration. Also, check the hard drive whether it’s alright or not. Ventilation is also very important so make sure that ventilation system is working properly. Power supply could also be the cause of this issue, so check that power supply is correctly connected. If necessary, unplug all the device connection and reconnect them.

PS4 turns off randomly while I play

This problem has been faced by many PS4 customers every time when you start your PS4 it turns of itself. Sometimes it won`t starts and red or blue light with beep sound comes out of PS4 and sometimes it turns off when you are playing any game. It’s a fault in PS4. But before going to any conclusion you should check whether all the cables are perfectly connected or not and also check that HDMI cable is perfectly attached if you still face the similar problem, then you have the warranty card with you claim your warranty or contact with the company.
