Faulty drivers webcam hp 101 win 7

My laptop needed reformat and I didn’t realize that I lost the drivers webcam hp 101 win 7. I’ve downloaded the driver to run the webcam but it's still not working; I did reinstallation to be sure. I'm not sure if there's still something I need to do. Please assist.

Faulty drivers webcam hp 101 win 7

Hi there Karen, 

I think the driver is working its just the version for it is not compatible with windows 7. For that just follow these instructions to Hello you solve your problem.

 

Click on "Start" button > go to search, type  "Compatibility"

Click on "Run programs made for previous versions of windows" > Scroll down to "Youcam", click on it and next

Click on "Try recommended settings" > Test your webcam

To activate it : Go to start > type in "Youcam" > Launch the youcam program

Let me know if error still persist.
