Why windows desktop icons look extra large?how to fix it?

Hey guys,

I have a problem with my PC that once in a week or after some days my Windows desktop icons go extra large size automatically the whole screen looks large and fluffy type but why? And after some time I turn off the PC and turn it on again they become normal. Is it virus causing this problem then please let me know how to deal with this.

Hi Christopher,

 

If you are using a mouse, the very simplest way to re-size your desktop icon is to: press and hold the control key in the keyboard while scrolling the mouse. Downward to make the icon small and upward to make it big. However, if you turn off and on your computer and then the large and fluffy type of desktop icon came back, try this another solution. 

 

Using your cursor, right click and locate view. Choose your preferred desktop icon size and click it. After doing so, restart your computer.

 

If the large and fluffy desktop icon came back, do right click on your desktop and locate screen resolution. Make sure to select the recommended resolution. Restart your computer to see if it is effective.

 

If above solution do not work, you need to update drivers of display on your computer. Try to download from the internet.
