I was researching a problem regarding k2.dll in the internet but doesn't see any words that showed up.
This morning when I was playing Hon while downloading some skins in the rainmeter. The next time I opened the Hon program promptly I got this error that says something about k2.dll.

One of the possible reason why your computer is showing this error is that your anti-virus program might have blocked or quarantined the k2.dll file. The anti-virus program might have identified it as a malicious file, thus putting it under quarantine.

Extract the file and copy it to the directory where you have installed HoN (usually C:Program FilesHeroes of Newerth). Restart your computer and try running HoN again.Â

Also try a PC cleanup and for the issue may be related to registry entry problems.

To do a PC cleanup, you will need to have CCleaner installed, so if you don't have it on your computer you can just go ahead and download it from the internet.

If the issue still persists, you will need to uninstall the program and then reinstall it and see if that will resolve the issue.

I would prefer to uninstall it and clean it’s every single thin also the registry entries also, for that you can use this registry cleaner in the below link.

After download, install it and clean every single entry of HON from register. Now reboot the pc. Now reinstall HON and run it.
