I Can’t “Windows Live Movie Maker” make it work

Every time I start Windows Live Movie Maker, or whenever I try to include a program in there, this error emerges:

“Sudden shutdown and restart Windows Live Movie Maker error 0×80070057”

I have tried so many times, but still I get the same error. What do you think is the problem? Thanks in advance.

Some end users have resolved this issue by saving the movie as “High-definition (720p)” instead “High-definition (1080p)”.Some end users have resolved this issue by saving the movie as “High-definition (720p)” instead “High-definition (1080p)”.

try-

go to the home tab, then the far right click the save movie down arrow,and select the bottom open "create custom setting", in here change the width from 1920 to 1280, and change the height from 1080 to 720, and try it that way.

Hi,

I can help you fix the issue with Windows Live Movie Maker on your computer. Please make sure your Windows Update is working fine. Any failure in the Windows Update may lead to such errors.

>> Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking.

>>Make sure you have updated the Graphics drivers to the latest version.

>>If this does not fix the issue, try reinstalling the application onto your computer. This should fix the issue.

>>Just in case if your issue does not get fixed, you can contact the Microsoft Support to fix the issue.

>>Alternatively you can try running the application in “Safe Mode with Networking” and see if the issue get fixed.
