Hello, Tinana!
Try this solution!
Remove all other old versions of Adobe Reader or Acrobat installer in you computer and then reinstall it.
To do this, you should:
1. Click Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs And Features (for Windows Vista and 7).
Choose Start > Control Panel, and double-click Add Or Remove Programs (for Windows XP).
2. Look for Adobe Reader or Acrobat and then look for the option to uninstall the program. Do this to all other versions of the installed programs.
3. Restart your PC and then reinstall Adobe Reader 9.3.
If this doesn't work, go to this link for more advanced tip on how to install the software : Download Link1
Hope this helps.
Because the installation requires modifying the Windows registry, setup requires that you have administrative privileges. If you are the administrator of the computer or you are using an administrator account, try running the setup file as administrator. To download the latest Adobe Reader, visit Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and set the download options. Select your operating system from the dropdown list and your language.
Supported operating systems from the dropdown list include Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, and OS X. Once downloaded, right-click on the downloaded setup file and select “Run as administrator.” This should allow you to install Adobe Reader successfully. Alternatively, you can use Foxit Reader.
Just like Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader is also a PDF reader and a PDF creator. It also allows you to convert or save Microsoft Office documents into PDF format using its Microsoft Office plug-in. The latest version supports Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Vista are no longer supported.
