Has anybody heard about an air mask that can charge your iPhone while breathing?

I feel like this is really cool but still in doubt about its effectively .

Has anybody tried if it really works?

Dear Chris,

Joao Lammoglia, Brazil has announced to introduce the AIRE. AIRE is a mask that is designed to charge iPhone by breathing into it. It is capable of converting breathing into electricity through tiny wind turbines. AIRE can be used indoors or outdoors even while sleeping, walking, jogging etc. 

According to the Lammodlia, another benefit AIRE is to give a message of harnessing the energies from human activities and transforming it to electricity is no difficult talk. There is no details from the company about its release date, price etc.

The only question that strikes the mind is, “shall we wear this mask every time the battery of our iPhone gets low?”

Hi.

Idea to charge with breaths you iPhone is interesting. But there are many problems. First, this is still a conceptual model. It was introduced in 2011 and it is still 3D computer model and idea. The faster you breath, the faster you charge, it works like a mini wind turbine. That is also a problem. You don't move that much air while breathing to power an turbine and still you need to have an transformation unit to transform it to usable electricity for your phone. As it is a nice idea it has many technology flaws.
