Will Android Kitkat have Android L upgrade?

Hey guys,

As we all know Android L is soon to be launched and already most of the smartphones have Android Kitkat version running on them so what you think will these smartphones get Android L update or we have to wait for the new Android L devices to buy. Please tell me I want to buy a smartphone and would like to take your suggestions.

Will Android Kitkat have Android L upgrade?

As of today. Google has already launched the Android L beta version for download and trials. Many Google Nexus users are able to update to this Beta version. So It would be safe to assume that the top end phone users would be able to upgrade. But the question is why would you want to upgrade the software for  a hardware built for the previous version. So our suggestion is, if one wants to be on top of the game. They should actually wait for the right hardware and software combination and then purchase it.
