IPhone 5S Charging Jack looks as it is Burnt?

The Charging Socket in my iPhone has turned Black as if it has Burnt, the charging has become slow and sometimes it doesn't even plug into charging(Charging Symbol doesn't show up). So are these both issues related? Is it some serious matter and if these are related will they replace my iPhone as it is still in warranty.

Hi Ave Broers,

If the charging port looks similar to the one shown below, this means it needs to be replaced. The connectors within the port are damaged that is why you are having  issues during charging.

You can contact Apple's support team to let them further assist you or bring it to a certified technician for repair.
