Folder containing some .exe files of some c-programs gets infected from some type of virus. I need to execute some .exe files for my project and anti-virus is not working even after updating the anti-virus. Suggest some solution for this problem or some way to execute .exe file without getting damaged my computer-system.

First of all, use the latest and most trusted internet security on the web. I’m using Avast but I’m not promoting the said AntiVirus, I’m just satisfied with its feature, the Sandbox and it also keeps my system free from viruses and malware.

The sandbox can run programs safely as it is quarantined and scanned for threat after execution.

 

The other way is to copy your C program files to an external storage (I recommend a USB flash drive) and run it to another PC that you can afford to be damage in terms of software.
