Will my Micromax Unite 2 get Android Lollipop Update

I am curious to know if my Micromax Unite 2 A106 will ge the Android Lollipop Update. I want this update from Google. I have heard about its features and can't resist to wait for it. What will be the requirement to get this update. Can I myself install this update by Rooting my Android Device. If yes then please give a step by step guide.

Well that depends if Micromax decides to release Android L for your handset, you should get the information from Micromax device support site. You can always root your phone and install a custom ROM, I don't think at this moment someone has done the hard work and baked in Android L in custom ROM for your device.
