Netgen 4.9.11 installation Crash on Sample File

The installation on Vista x64 SP3 is also busted in the existence of Account Control that is the regular thing for Vista. It provides an inaccuracy or error as specify in the following image:

Error opening file or writing:

C:Program Files (x86)Netgen-4.9.11_x64bindialog.tcl

Click Abort to stop the installation,

Retry to try again, or

Ignore to skip this file.

Abort   Retry   Ignore

Please help.

Netgen 4.9.11 installation Crash on Sample File

Hello,

Like you said Windows Vista is known to have issues. You installed NETGEN that is an automatic 3D tetrahedral mesh generator. The requirements are: Operating System: Mac OS 9 or before, Linux, Windows, Windows XP.

According to the requirements you should not have a problem so, uninstall and try to download from this site.

If the reinstallation does not solve the problem for you, then you should contact Microsoft.
