Hello. Is there any program other than "memtest" to test my memory? I use Windows 7. Thanks for your answers.

NOTE: The procedure below will work no matter what type of Operating System you are using since all of the memory testing programs is functioning outside the windows.

The memory should be replaced immediately if the memory test fails. Take note that the memory hardware in the computer is non-repairable and that is the reason it must be replaced when failed.

This is already used by the system. Let us look at the others.

2. Windows Memory Diagnostic:

This software is a free memory test program which is very similar to the usual RAM test programs that are provided by Microsoft. If a problem arises with your computer memory, the WMD will perform a series of extensive tests to determine the cause.

Important: To use WMD, you will need to be using Windows or any other Operating System.Â
You need to have Windows or any other operating system to use WMD. You just need to download the program and create a bootable disc. After booting, the WMD will begin the test automatically.

3. M2K MemScope:

This software is a free memory test program coming from the creators of Micro-Scope which is a large suite of professional, time tested (and expensive) computer diagnostic tools.

4. DocMemory Memory Diagnostic:

This is another computer memory test program that works almost the same to the other programs that have been listed above. The problem is that it only creates a bootable floppy. Now-a-days computers do not have floppy drives anymore.

Therefore, I will only recommend this one if the others above on the list will not work for you.
