Please I own a Compaq hybrid laptop and the video card in it gives me a lot of problem. It cannot display 3D images properly, I find it hard to use some soft wares as well as playing some games. Some of  the soft wares will not even run at all because of my video graphic card.
I have decided to get a external video card, please which one should I go for.Â
ADVICE ON VIDEO GRAPHIC CARD PERCHASE
It is not possible to install a new video card to your device.
Â
If you want to upgrade your computer consult where you got your device was bought, they will send your device back to the manufacturer for upgrades.
Â
Most devices inside laptops are soldered, so replacing then and opening your device will automatically void your warranty. Every laptop has a different layout so it is better to send it to experts. Do not force open your device.
Â
If you still want to utilize your software check with your dealer regarding minimum system requirements and that you meet that criteria.

ADVICE ON VIDEO GRAPHIC CARD PERCHASE
Â
You should be able to use an external graphics processing unit that would make use of the available interfaces in your laptop which most likely would be the USB port. Before you make a purchase, try and think about how much power you need by checking the applications that you need to run and how much they require.
Â
As soon as you have this information, you can check the market for an external graphics processing unit that meets, or better yet exceeds, the requirements of your software. Bear in mind though that even if you have a fast graphics processing unit. it would be limited by the interface that it will be using (I. e. USB), therefore.
Â
it is worth thinking about just getting a new laptop with a good built in or perhaps discrete graphics card.
