Microsoft Windows 7 OS architecture verses Microsoft Windows Vista OS architecture

Windows 7 and Windows Vista both are almost same OS. Unlike Vista, Windows 7 came up with many improvements than Vista that gives a clear cut line between them.

First of all, Windows Vista was too heavy, the new Aero theme wasn’t so improved. Performance was poor as well. Many new features were added to Windows Vista, but wasn’t so much powerful. PowerShell had to be downloaded, UAC wasn’t so good. Windows Recovery Environment, Problem Steps Recorder wasn’t so good.

Windows 7 came in all new improvements. The runtime was improved, didn’t eat too much disk space and other resources. PowerShell, BitLocker etc. were the built-in components. Mostly, the security and UI was improved as well. It had all Vista features, in improved edition.

Vista didn’t get to people so vastly as 7 did. Even Windows 7 is, until now, the most popular OS, with almost 51% users of all PC operators.

If you wish to start computing, you should start with Windows 7. It's much easier, improved and better compatible with both newbie and professionals.
