Multiple OS in same PC

I have to do a lot of works with both Windows and Linux OS. Can any one help me suggesting the correct way of installing both OS in same PC? How should I install Linux without using virtual machine? I have HDD: 500GB, RAM: 2GB, Processor: 2.84GHz.

Multiple OS in same PC

You can install windows operating system with Linux operating system by using different partitions.

You hard disk is enough to install  both operating systems. so you can do it as follows.

First of all you need to install windows 7 ( my preferred method ) or you can install Linux first. in here i will not go for more details just follow below link and you will learn how to install both Linux and windows as dual boot.
