Is there a way to set security without a password?

I have made my wifi connection password free. I did this because when I set up a password the router doesn't work. So is there a way to set security without a password? Urgent please help?

Is there a way to set security without a password?

Hey Olivia!

Every router that has Wifi connectivity must be set password for the security. I am afraid there is no other way to set security for the router without setting the password on it.

However if your router show some problem if you set the password, then you can contact your service provider. They will tell you the solution for this problem.

Or there is also a possibility that there is some problem with your hardware i.e your router. Give a thorough check to your router and make sure that it is working perfectly.

Is there a way to set security without a password?

Hi there , 

It seems you need help regarding your WiFi router and setting security options to it. 

Its doesn't sounds good when you say set security without password. What do you meant ?? 

If anyone can access them then its secure-less. There are certain softwares available in the market that can set and secure your WiFi router. If your WiFi router fails when you try to use with password then i suggest you pack it up and send it to the manufacturer. 

They will take care of it free of cost if your warranty didn't expired.

I'm afraid you have no other choices than that.

I contacted my service provider to set-up a password for me. I feel bad that I can't do it with my own but thank you very much,  Tunacao_Caaron1, for responding to my question.
