Mozilla bug issue – Command Error 12

Dear readers,

With a great hope I am here today. My domain host has already changed the email system. Since the moment of such a change I have been facing an error that says,

Command Error 12

As I contacted my host, it said that the error is ‘a Mozilla bug issue’. I was not sure about this. Do you?

If yes please help me.

Mozilla bug issue – Command Error 12

Hello Hunter,

Indeed, it is a bug from Mozilla. But try this suggestion by altering your CONFIG EDITOR button. Go to TOOLS, OPTIONS, ADVANCED, GENERAL then CONFIG EDITOR BUTTON. Type: send_client_info and when the preferences shows, choose FALSE. When this does not work, try checking the server you are using. Make sure it is the right mail server.

Mozilla bug issue – Command Error 12

Hi Hunter,

     This has been an ongoing issue with Mozilla, I suggest you enable IMAP logging to track down what really is happening. Make sure that all email settings are correct as it might also be affected whenever there are updates. You can try this try going to the Configuration editor under tool, then options, advanced, and the general look for the config editor button and then type in send_client_info change it to false the error should not show by then.
