Query regarding the operating system in HP 15 R022TX

I recently bought the HP 15 R022TX laptop online and it came with just DOS installed in it and I installed Windows 8.1 Pro on it. I'm facing some problems with the bluetooth and WLAN drivers. I cannot create an ad-hoc network without using the command prompt and the bluetooth device doesn't turn off and works erratically. How can I resolve this and is anyone else facing the same problems?

Query regarding the operating system in HP 15 R022TX

This is the first time I hear of a laptop being sold and shipped with only DOS as its operating system though its specifications are quite excellent for a nice Microsoft Windows 7 or Microsoft Windows 8. Since you’ve installed Microsoft Windows 8.1, it should be 64-bit because that’s the supported architecture for your HP 15-r022tx notebook.

And since you are in the process of installing drivers for your notebook, I guess you don’t have the correct drivers for your computer. To download all necessary drivers for your notebook, please visit HP 15-r022tx Notebook PC Drivers. Since you are having problems installing the drivers for the notebook’s Bluetooth and WLAN, you should download the correct driver from Driver – Network section.

You experienced that issue because not all drivers are available in Microsoft Windows 8.1 and often, only generic drivers are included in the operating system.
