As a company owner or officer, how do I go about choosing the best remote desktop access solution?

Choosing a program for remote desktop connections is actually a matter of different factors.

The first of those factors and also the most important is the operating system.

Here are some examples of free remote desktop for both windows and Linux:

Windows:  

1. Windows remote desktop: which is a great and free tool you already have in the system

2. TeamViewer : also a great tool although not free but considered cost effective

Linux:

In Linux you haveVNC,FreeNX,XDMCP,XRDP and a lot more found in your distribution repositories.

Remote access is definitely efficient rather than sending someone over to fix issues that can be done remotely. Companies would save a lot of expenses if they do it that way. There are a lot of remote desktop solutions out in the market that could provide the best solutions fit for every company.

 

Here are some top remote desktop providers today:

 

Logmein Rescue this software need not to be installed on every machine to get remote access, users just need to go to a site and enter a code coming from the technician who is going to remotely access the computer.

 

 

 

GotoAssist is one of the best remote desktop tool, it boasts its almost real time mouse movement on every session and allows you to create multiple remote sessions on one software.

 

 

 

I personally use both software and I can confidently say that these two does a great job.
