WinRAR 4.2 Beta 3 not working properly

Hi everyone!

The new beta release of WinRAR is not working properly in my windows 8 OS. Sometime when I try to extract a folder using WinRAR, the option becomes unavailable. Is there anyone who can give me the possible reasons of this issue and suggest solutions to this matter?

Hi Harold,

I think that if the beta version is not working properly for you then you can download the latest stable version from the WinRAR website.

First uninstall the version installed and then install the new one and give it a try.

Good Day Mr Harold,

First of all I would like you to know that there is no problem with the Beta version of WinRAR. This problem is only faced when your computer window is infected by virus.

So first thing you should do is to run a full virus scan on your computer using Avast 7.0 Pro. Once the scanning is done restart your computer and then re-download WinRAR beta version and install it, it will work fine then.

But even after doing all this your problem is not solved then you should try reinstalling your windows on your computer and then install the beta version of WinRAR or you can also use other versions of WinRAR that work fine.
