Hey I have a question. I recently bought a 128mb64 bit 8x speed video card for my PC in which earlier I was using a 64mb card. Well my problem is that after installing the new card my PC gets stuck while playing games like command and conquer generals. I think it is related to the video card because earlier I didn’t have such problem with my old one.
Between I have a Pentium3 650mhz computer (an old and reliable system) and the cards I am talking about, both go into the onboard 2x agp slot.
Also the PC gets stuck mostly in games not in programs.
Games freezes after replacing new video card
Hello Simon.d,
Your problem might be with the graphics card. Go online and check if the graphics card supports your existing system. This will slow down your performance. Always when we play games the processor is over burdened. So your graphics card may not be fully supported with your system.

Hi Simon.d,
Based here I see that your machine got the minimum system requirements and your CPU too. But if you want more optimal game play use the recommended system requirements.
If you think the video card is the problem, you must cleanly install the video card.
Remove the drivers of your old video card then install the drivers of your new video card and update your video card driver for optimal game performance for NVIDIA card and for ati video card .
Cheers.
