It is a well known fact that China’s Milkyway 2 which is also called as Tianhe-2 ranked as the world’s fastest super computer on the most Top500 list for the last three years. It won this rank in June 2013 with 33.86 petaflop/s (quadrillions of calculations per second) performance record. Was this amazing supercomputer was able to capture the same rank this year?
