I am a new for web site business so fully establishing my business I need to know about digital certificate? what does the terms subject mean with regard to digital certificates? What does a digital certificate contain?

I am waiting to know for the above.

We know, a public key certificate (also known as a digital certificate or identity certificate) is an electronic document that uses a digital name to bind a public key with an identity. Information name of a person or an organization, their address, and so forth. The certificate can be used to verify that a public key belongs to an individual. For verifiable protection this reliance on a little external to the system has the effect that any public key certification scheme has to rely on some special setup assumption, such as the existence of a certificate authority.
