Don’t want Thumbs.db in images folder

Hello

I'm developer and using subversioning to upload my files problem is that my /images folder create Thumbs.db and every time I change in the /images folder it shows me indication that there are changes in the folder, what I wanted to know, is there any possibility that Thumb.db file delete permanently or cant be created.

Don’t want Thumbs.db in images folder

Of course we can disable the Thumbs.db file. here some tips:

To disable Thumb.db in XP and 7 you must login to your PC as Administrator then type gpedit.msc with click Start then Run. While On 7 type gpedit.msc in Start, search box then Enter 

Hit OK, this will open Local Group Policy, then go to User Configuration, Administrative Template, Windows Component, Windows Explore

 

Scroll down to find "Turn Off caching on thumbnail pictures", then double click it. Click "Enable" button then Apply. Close the Editor and thumbs.db will disappear after this

Disable thumbnail creation by opening Windows Explorer on Vista, Organize then select Folder and Search Options. Open View tab and insert check "Always show icons, never thumbnails". Click OK then Run Disk Cleanup on Drive C to empty cache so you can recover the disk space. You can find it in Accessories, in System Tools.

Open Explorer, goto the AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows folder under your name. Now right-Click the Explorer folder to select Properties, open the Security tab then pick Advanced button. Go to the Permissions tab, click Edit, uncheck "Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent". choose Remove in the Windows Security box that pops up then click OK in the Permissions tab.

 

Click Yes in the Windows Security box that pops up. Close all the open boxes. Finally go back into the Folder and Search Options and uncheck the Always show icons, never thumbnails and you're done.

After this, Vista will still show the thumb.db but won't save them into disk
