What would you say is the single most important thing in SEO? What is the Return on Investment for SEO activities? How important is compression for the purpose of SEO? Would it be wise to focus more on compression alone, so as to improve page loading speed? What effect will this have on usability and conversions?

Is compressibility a crucial factor for SEO?

Return on Investment(ROI) is a very important metric in Search Engine Marketing because it takes into account of our cost of investment. We should calculate and report ROI of our website to the client. If not, client calculates it himself which may be inaccurate. Compression play an important role in SEO because it makes all your files smaller by putting into a zip folder. This is because if our webpage contains more number of files and images, it gets more time to load. So compression is the ultimate way of quick response to the request made by the user.
