I have my own computer system at my office and all computers at my office are connected through LAN connection. Some computers are connected through Ethernet connection. My problem is that when I try to login my system through domestic domain it shows an error saying " windows can not connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable". When I plug out the LAN wire, it shows logged in and starts working but sometime it doesn't work even after I plug out and if I use it without LAN wire, I get disconnected from the server.

Hi there user:
Here is the simple way to solve it. Double-click My Computer and then select Properties. And then find on the computer name tab, Change button. Change the Member of option from AD Domain to Work Group.
Now type the desired work-group name, then hit Ok. And then you will be prompted to type the credentials of the user and administrative rights. Then it’ll confirm shortly. Now you may re-boot your computer.
Log-in locally. Problem solved.
Best regards,

Hello Mmish,
Did you open the domain controller? Cause if not, then the rest of the computers will not be able to connect through the domain. The best way to check this is to turn the domain controller and try logging in again. Try logging in or connecting to network drives by using DomainName and Username. If not, use the Work Group without using a domain for a simple connection.
